Multicultural Summer Camp 2010

Welcome to our first ever fully licensed Multicultural Cultural Summer Camp. The Camp brings together the best in

  • Arts
  • Dance
  • Sports
  • Martial Arts
  • Academics
  • Robotics

Partnering with top institutions and schools of the area. This 10 week program starts on June 14 and extends until August 20.
The program is designed to enrich the multicultural and diversified population of San Jose, CA and each activity is taught by professionals in their area of expertise.
Partners offering the camp include Aborn Institute, Indian-Fusion Dance Academy (IFDA), Shaolin Kungfu Center (CSKC), San Jose Ballet, Pacific Music Academy(PMA) and teachers from leading Private and Public Schools.

 

Program Details

In The first 7 weeks your child will have the following activities as part of her Summer camp. (Dates 6/21 to 7/30)

Shaolin Kung Fu: This will be taught by the masters of Chinese Shaolin Kungfu Center. Besides learning the unique kung fu techniques of self-defense, the kids will also learn Shaolin drumming.
Table Tennis: Will be taught by Mr.Tang who is the official coach for the Chinese National Championship team.
Yoga/Bollywood Dancing: The kids will learn basic yoga and will proceed to learn a complete Bollywood dance routine and will be able to perform before an audience at the end of a two week time period. The Bollywood dance will be taught by the very competent instructors of Indian-Fusion Dance Academy.
Math Enrichment and English writing: Math and English will be taught by very experienced instructors from the valleys leading private and public schools.
Swimming: Will be at the YMCA and will have an experienced coach to help the kids if they need help.
Art: The different art activities will be designed and taught by the teachers of Art Academy which is an award winning art school in the valley.
Sport Games: Will include Soccer, Basketball, Shuttle Cock kicking, Tug-Of-War, Relay races, Frisbee, Jump Rope
Field Trips: The kids will be taken to field trips to the Tech Musuem, Rosecrucian Museum, Parks etc on Fridays

The last 3 weeks will be Robotic camp.(Dates 8/02 to 8/20)

Robotics: Will be taught by instructors who led the Evergreen High School Robotics team to win 1st place in the CalGames 2009 Competition in Woodside, CA.
It will also be the time when the middle school competitive Robotic team will be selected.

The teacher to student ratio is 1:8.
Lunch can be brought from home or ordered online from Nob Hill Foods. More details about food will be provided upon enrollment

  • Add $30 Registration Fee to the total

We have several discount programs available to help make Multi-Cultural Summer camp more affordable for every family.

 

  • Sign up before April 25th and receive 10% off the reguslar tuition.
  • Sign Up between April 25th and June 10th and receive 5% off the regular tuition.
  • Sibling will receive an additional discount 10%

We make it possible for you to apply for flex spending with the amount you pay for the camp.

 

Refund Policy
  • Full Refund can be made before May 1st
  • Half Refund can be Made from May 1st to June 10th
  • NO refund can be made after June 10th
  • $30 will be charged for refunded processing fee.
  • $25 will be charged for returned checks
